Over the years I have reviewed a majority of the major ladyboy bars in Thailand, but thus far I have not covered Katoeys Are Us. That is a real shame and a serious error on my part considering that Katoeys Are Us is a one of a kind bar that is one of the most well run operations of its type to be found anywhere.

Katoeys Are Us is a major go go bar located just off of Walking Street in Pattaya. Walking Street is of course the most famous part of Pattaya, in spite of the hopes of tourism officials and prudes to turn the place into a family tourism destination. Walking Street is famous not because it’s next to a beach, but because it is filled with go go bars where women in various states of undress dance on stage in hope of luring in a paying customer.

Now with Katoeys Are Us in full operation, it is not just women who dance on stages along Walking Street. Thai chicks with dicks are doing it too. Katoeys Are Us isn’t located right on Walking Street, but it’s so close that it might as well be. Katoeys Are Us is located on Soi Diamond, which is just up the block from Walking Street and only a few steps from the well known Windmill go go bar.

Katoeys Are Us opened a while ago. It wasn’t the first or only ladyboy go go bar in Thailand then and it isn’t now. Places like Baby Boom have been around. But Katoeys Are Us still made waves. What’s so special about Katoeys Are Us?

Katoeys Are Us is just off of Walking Street. Katoeys Are Us is a very large bar. I mean, it’s absolutely huge by go go bar standards. When you walk in there’s a big stage in the middle of the floor then seats all around the walls of the room. On top of that there are tables and a bar toward the back.

The stage is lined with poles and the poles are worked by a lot of ladyboys. I mean a lot, seriously. It wouldn’t be anything to see maybe twenty ladyboys on stage at a given time. Most of them are really hot too. Probably half actually look like girls. They also have a few Amazons too and one or two with massively overinflated boobs, but there are plenty of ladylike ladyboys including even some who grew their own boobs. A lot of the dancers are early twenties, only a few are older.

It’s “mixed nuts” in a real way, with something sure to satisfy everyone. I’ve actually heard that some guys who weren’t even into ladyboys ended up playing with kathoeys from http://ladyboyreports.com/ladyboys-in-thailand/review-of-straps-go-go-bar-in-bangkok-thailand/ once they wandered inside and saw the dancers on stage.

All of the ladyboys at Katoeys Are Us are pre-op. That means they have their block and tackle intact. Apparently, the people who own the place don’t hire post-op ladyboys. It’s no Straps.

The dancers wear bikinis. A lot of them drop their tops too. Some sit around with their tops off the whole time they are in the bar, probably proud of their big boobs and wanting to show them off to everyone. Apparently this isn’t a probably in Thailand, since it’s not illegal for “guys” to go topless!

Yet Katoeys Are Us is a more or less quite place. It doesn’t ever seem to get packed out with customers. The one or two ladyboys posted out front aren’t aggressive about pulling in customers. Inside, the ladyboys aren’t aggressive at all! They’re up for fun and all, they just don’t get totally in your face as is the case at most ladyboy bars. There’s no pressure or begging for drinks. It’s really laid back!

It’s not so laid back that it’s dead though. The ladyboys inside are lively and fun. Most of them can speak English fairly well too. I don’t know what it is, but ladyboys working in Thai bars seem to be able to speak English a lot better than the ladies working in Thai bars. Something for a sociologist with too much grant money on his hands to study I guess.

The bar fine at Katoeys Are Us is 600 Baht. There are rooms upstairs along with numerous short time hotels nearby. Some guys also take ladyboys out of the bar and to their own rooms. Most of the ladyboys seem eager to make extra money by leaving the bar which only makes sense.

Bandit’s Hideout is one of the many short time style bars on Soi 6 in Pattaya, Thailand. There are a lot of things that set it apart from the other short time bars on Soi 6 however. There seems to be a growing trend toward differentiation on Soi 6, whereas most bars used to follow basically the same formula up and down the strip.

What sets Bandit’s Hideout apart? Well for starters it’s a mixed bar. That isn’t as rare as it used to be, but it’s still not the norm. What I mean by mixed is that the staff at the bar is made up partly of ladyboys and partly of “real women.” In the case of Bandit’s there seem to be six ladyboys working and about six regular girls. Of course this is subject to change at any minute. Nothing is fast in the desert but transformations can be quick in Southeast Asia. Just ask any post-op. The last time I stopped by there were only ladyboys on staff: a super aggressive Amazon and a more ladylike and attractive ladyboy who was on an intense hormone regime that allowed her to grow a nice natural set of boobs but rendered her willy ineffective for anything other than taking a leak.

Another thing that makes Bandit’s Hideout a little different is that the bar has an open front. Sure there are some other bars like that on Soi 6 too, but they at least seem to be in the minority. Most bars have glass fronts and closing doors, and for good reason. With an open front people on the street and in other bars can see what’s going on inside the bar. So Bandit’s Hideout isn’t much of a hideout at all. On top of that, an open front bar can’t be properly cooled with an air conditioner. Fans are nice, but they don’t always do the trick.

Finally, Bandit’s is probably the only bar on Soi 6 that has service workers who do not partake with customers. These two waitresses are probably the best looking real ladies in the bar, but as their t-shirt uniforms would indicate they are only there to deliver drinks. They don’t play with the customers.

Otherwise Bandit’s is a fairly normal bar, that is if anything on Soi 6 can be considered normal. It has large cushioned booth seating towards the back that does give some privacy. Really though anything requiring real privacy is probably done in the rooms upstairs, access by climbing an insanely steep set of stairs on the right side of the bar.

Last night the Pattaya police did a patrol of the beach road promenade which is a known haunt for freelancer prostitutes including more than a few ladyboys. I wasn’t on hand to witness it, but it seems some police walked down the sidewalk and sex workers scattered.

Channel 7 in Pattaya reported that the many sex workers in the area were more or less unaffected. They just “melted into the sea of normal people” then miraculously reappeared later when the patrol had ended.

This reminds me of the occasional police pass through of places like Geylang in Singapore or Wat Phnom in Phnom Penh. The cops pass through and catch whoever they can while everyone else disappears. As soon as the cops are finished with their activities, the same old sex workers come back out of the cracks and push their services once again. It’s hard to keep the world’s oldest profession down!

It may seem strange to have a patrol against prostitution in Pattaya. After all, the city is more or less known as a world center of prostitution despite the family friendly image some are now trying to promote. Sure, you can take a family there. There’s a beach, a mall, and even a water park. But there’s also thousands upon thousands of prostitutes selling sex on nearly every street in the city. The very history of the city is tied up with foreigners buying sex from locals in fact!

That’s really no matter in Thailand of course. Everyone knows what goes on there, especially in Pattaya. It’s impossible to imagine that the Pattaya police of all people don’t know there is prostitution on Beach Road. Most days you can see prostitutes standing there next to the beach even while the police stand right next to them. According to reports, some 676 ladyboys have been recorded by police engaged in any crime efforts. That’s a lot of ladyboys!

So what gives here? Why were the Pattaya police patrolling the Beach Road promenade? Apparently it all stems back to some video or another that went “viral” on the internet. In the video, some ladyboys were apparently getting pretty frisky. Nothing out of the norm that you can’t see on Soi 6 any day of the week, but the issue here is that it was exposed to the rest of the world.

As is usual in Thailand there is a difference between allowing things to go on and admitting they go on to the whole world. It’s a question of face and face saving. It’s also a less exotic matter of keeping certain things under wraps, which might be more familiar to readers of this site.

Apparently the police have actually tracked down the ladyboys who appeared in the video. They admitted they did what they are caught on film doing, believe it or not, but they say it was all in the past. The police seem to have completed their patrol and now it’s all good and back to normal as long as no more videos appear online.

What else can I say but “TIT.” This is Thailand!

Pat Bar 2 is a ladyboy bar on the hectic and wild Soi 6 in Pattaya. As the name might suggest it is the second in a series of bars. The first Pat bar is right next door and has the unsurprising name of Pat Bar 1. Pat Bar 2 opened in what used to be a hair salon for the working women on the street, so it didn’t take the place of any other bar.

Apparently, Pat Bar 2 was originally meant to be a bar for “regular girls” when it opened back in 2015. I don’t know what happened with that plan but almost right after it opened the bar was more of a mixed bag with both ladyboys and regular women. Nowadays it is a purely ladyboy bar which is probably a good thing for the fans of the third sex.

I personally don’t get the idea behind the mixed bars. People always try them out in Thailand but they never seem to be all that successful. Usually they end up in two directions. Either the bars are popular with guys looking for genetic girls and the few ladyboys on hand get ignored or even insulted by punters or the ladyboy lovers come to dominate and the regular women end up leaving the bar for greener pastures.

Whatever the case was at Pat Bar 2 it is now a bar staffed with ladyboys and visited by guys who like them. I don’t know how many first timers or experimenters end up at Pat Bar 2 but if I had to guess I would say that most of the customers at Pat Bar 2 are probably quite familiar with kathoeys.

That’s because the bar is totally open to the street. It’s not that big either. What that means is that people walking by the street can see right inside, so anyone shy about spending time with a ladyboy would be right out of luck.

It used to be that Soi 6 was only visited by people interested in what the street had to offer. Nowadays though it gets its fair share of tourist couples who love to gawk, including even some people who insist on recording everything they come across on their phones or handheld cameras. Who knows what they do with the footage. I guess they upload it to the internet so sexual deviants who dare visit known places of prostitution can be identified by facial recognition software and outed by artificial intelligence sometime in the near future. Or maybe not.

Whatever the case Pat Bar 2 never seems to get all that busy, but I doubt that has anything to do with fears of a Brave New World. It’s more likely that the place just gets lost in the mix of bars on the street, especially with scantly clad women and ladyboys out in the street trying to pull in customers.

There are usually around a half dozen ladyboys working at Pat Bar 2 on any given day. They tend to be on the older and more manly or “amazonian” side of things, though for some reason they aren’t that aggressive at all. They do hang in front of the bar looking for customers but I have never seen them run out and grab anyone as some of the other ladyboys (and ladies) on the same street do on a regular basis.

Inside the bar things are laid back and cool. The ladyboys are really relaxed and seem to go with the flow more than anything else. Drink prices are reasonable for the area and of course all the ladyboys on staff offer short time services in a room above the street for a grand total of around 1,300 Baht ($41 USD) though some will apparently do things for even less than that.

Nidcha House Bar is one of several ladyboy bars located along or near Soi Bukhao in Pattaya. Nidcha is owned by the same guy behind the previously reviewed Titti Twisters and it operates in much the same way too. In fact the ladyboys at both bars actually share use of the short time rooms situated above Nidcha.

Nidcha House Bar is actually located right on Soi Bukhao near the intersection with LK Metro. It is easy to spot from the street with its big bright sign and open front. If that wasn’t enough to draw customers in — or scare away the more timid types — there is usually a team of ladyboys sitting outside in very revealing clothing.

Like Titti Twisters, Nidcha House Bar has an open design. That means there is basically no front wall to the place, so anyone standing on the street or even driving down it can look all the way into the bar to see what’s going on. Usually nothing more than some drinking or talking is going though, perhaps in part because of the bar’s open atmosphere.

One of the reasons that there are so many different ladyboy bars in Pattaya is that there is room for all sorts of approaches. Some guys like the wild and raunchy in your face action that they can find at a bar like Baby Boom while others want a more reserved atmosphere. Nidcha House Bar would be more fitting for the latter group.

The ladyboys who work at Nidcha simply aren’t very pushy at all. While they do sit in front of the bar trying to lure customers inside, they do not resort to the sort of aggressive hand grabbing and arm pulling I’ve seen elsewhere. They don’t get too pushy or grabby inside the bar either. Of course there are short time rooms available above the bar as I mentioned. After all pay for play is the name of the game and the fuel behind this place and places like it. Still, no one is going to be pulled kicking and screaming into those rooms.

Any customer who does want to take one or more of the ladies on staff up to those rooms usually just has to ask. The rate for the use of the room is quite reasonable as is standard at bars under this owner. Drink prices are absolutely reasonable too and cheaper than what some of the other places around town ask.

There is a mix of ladyboys on staff at Nidcha and obviously things can change from one day to the next. So while it doesn’t make sense to try to do an individual run down from one ladyboy to the next I can say that on an average night you’ll see around a half dozen ladyboys either in front of the place or inside with customers. Most of them will be in their twenties, tall and generally fit. Some will be quite masculine looking while one or two will look a lot more like real women. Most all will have surgically enhanced breasts.

As regular readers and ladyboy admirers no doubt already know, Pattaya is filled with ladyboys. Thailand’s sin city has everything from ladyboy go go bars to street walkers and more. It’s like a candy land for those who love to play with ladyboys and have money to motivate ladyboys to play with them. Not to mention that Thailand is home to the most beautiful ladyboys in the world!

In the midst of all the ladyboy venues in Pattaya some smaller places get lost. Little mention is made of some of these bars even though they are considered to be among the best by regular visitors and expats. Lita Bar on Soi 13/2 is just one of those bars.

Lita Bar was started by the same lady behind Ezy Bar and Famous Bar. People who have been around for a while know these bars and their great reputations. If the goal was to build similar respect among clientele for Lita Bar, then the owners have succeeded. Originally the bar was located on Soi BJ, but it moved to its new location at the end of last year.

Lita Bar is a well known starting point for ladyboys just getting into the industry. A lot of ladyboys work at Lita Bar first before moving on to other venues. So there are often very hot nineteen and twenty year old ladydboys at the bar. Of course many of the ladyboys become loyal to the boss and stick around. Along with the greenhorns there are quite a few veteran ladyboys too.

One thing that can be said about all of the staff new and old is that they are good looking. Lita Bar has some of the hottest ladyboys to be found anywhere. I don’t know if they reject ladyboys who aren’t attractive or what, but somehow they always seem to have a full lineup of hotties with little to no “not so hotties” getting in the way.

The bar itself is great place to relax. Unlike the super aggressive ladyboys working in some of the go go and short time bars, the ladyboys at Lita Bar are totally laid back. Lita is too. There is a great feeling in the air and little pressure is put on customers.

At the same time, the ladyboys aren’t shy at all. They can be quite amorous in the bar if they like a customer. A lot of touching can go down, and there may even be some going down, right in the bar. Those looking for more than that have the option of taking a lady from the bar into one of the short time rooms upstairs.

The barfine is a normal 500 Baht. The ladyboys who work in the bar usually want 1000 Baht or more for short time. Of course they ask for at least double that for overnight stays in most cases, but ultimately it all comes down to negotiation between the ladyboys and their customers.

The bar has a pool table that is to free to use. They also have a lot of parties at the bar. Things can get wild during the parties. When the alcohol starts flowing and the ladyboys cut lose, nearly anything is possible. They love to have fun!

Lita Bar opens in the afternoon though it doesn’t kick into full gear until a little later. Still, opening a few hours earlier than some other bars gives it an advantage. Go go bars on nearby Walking Street don’t usually get going until at least 8:00 PM.

Several weeks ago I wrote about ladyboy street walkers in Bangkok. The only city in Thailand that has even more ladyboy streetwalkers would probably be Pattaya. Although the city is home to numerous ladyboy bars there are also a lot of ladyboys around who prefer for whatever reason to work the streets. Since the main part of Pattaya is a relatively safe area this may not be the craziest choice. Ladyboys looking for part time work or the independence of working without a boss may prefer standing along a beach on a heavily traveled tourist trail to showing up for a job every day of the week.

There are numerous of stories of guys running into problems with street walking ladyboys in Pattaya. Sometimes they don’t even have to go to a private place to have issues. There are plenty of reports of ladyboys pretending to come on to guys only to lift their valuables, especially around the beach. Of course that’s what makes the news. Untold numbers of transactions go off without a hitch in the city, but those aren’t the kinds of things that newspapers and websites would normally write about. Surely there is some risk involved for any guy who picks a stranger up off of the street. I don’t know how much higher the risk is with ladyboys than regular ladies and I probably never will. As far as I know no scientific studies on the subject have ever been launched and I doubt any will in my lifetime.

A lot of guys have gone without ladyboy street walkers in Pattaya regularly for years without much issue. I imagine they take a lot of precautions and have at least a little bit of luck. Surely they aren’t any special performers though. I think anyone with a bit of sense and street smarts could do the same.

Anyway, ladyboy street walkers in Pattaya hang out in four main places. Some may be found in other parts of the city but these four locations are for the most part where most of them work.

The first and most well known location for ladyboy street walkers in Pattaya is the Beach Road strip. This is a long road that runs along the beach, hence the name. The beach side of the road has a large promenade where people walk. In the evenings and at night a lot of street walkers stand here or sit on benches trying to make eye contact with passing guys. Some people jokingly refer to this as “the coconut bar” since there are a lot of coconut trees around. Ladyboys are often found mixed in with the regular ladies, though more tend to hang out at the end of Beach Road near the entrance of Walking Street.

The ladyboys near Walking Street are often some of the better looking ladyboy street walkers to be found anywhere in the country. Some are really beautiful and a few have regularly appeared in ladyboy porn. Some also have bad reputations. It’s a mixed bag. Surely the mix contains it’s share of nuts, and they aren’t all swinging.

Ladyboy and regular lady street walkers stand on Beach Road almost every day starting around dark and into the late hours of the night. Most of them ask 1000 Baht ($28 USD) or more to start, but many will settle for as little as 500 Baht ($14 USD) especially if asked by regulars or people who can at least count in the Thai language.

Once in a while the police will do a sweep and all of the street walkers will disappear at least for a while. Before long they are usually right back in their regular places. For the most part the ladies and ladyboys work without issue and customers are virtually never bothered.

Ladyboy street walkers can also be found right on Walking Street. Just outside of the bars and in one of the most crowded and tourist areas of the city there are at least some ladyboy street walkers around every night of the week. These generally tend to be some of the hottest ladyboys working the streets. Some are well known. They aren’t very aggressive most of the time. They just stand there and let their looks bring guys in. These ladies tend to want a little more than other street walkers around town but most will settle on 1000 or 1500 Baht to go with a guy for a little while. Often they prefer to use the short time hotels right there on the same street.

The third place street walkers from the third sex can be found is on Soi 6/1. This back alley runs next to the famous Soi 6 and gives discrete access to a number of bars like So What which I reviewed a while back. Some of the women from these bars wait in Soi 6/1 to try to tempt customers into their bars but a few street walkers also work here. As the night goes on they are more likely to show up. After midnight when the bars are approaching their closing times it is quite common to see ladyboy street walkers here. Some are really hardcore wearing almost nothing and getting really aggressive. That’s exactly what some of the guys who like Soi 6 love. It’s not for the feint of heart.

Finally there is the Soi Bukhao and Soi Pattaya Sai Song 13. Soi Bukhao is a main road lined with bars such as Titti Twisters and Fantasy which have both been reviewed on this site. Starting around when the sun goes down there are usually some street walker ladyboys hanging around here. They can be found on both sides of the street and into the late night. They often hang in front of convenience stores. Although there are lots of regular lady bars around the street walkers are all ladyboys. I’ve never seen a regular lady street walker there at all.

Soi Pattaya Sai Song 13 connects Soi Bukhao with Second Road. This road has its share of bars and lots of food carts. Some of the food carts serve up pretty good food. My favorite is the spaghetti stand right at the corner of Soi Bukhao and Pattaya Sai Song 13 which is often staffed by one of the owners. She is a great looking ladyboy with big bolt on tits that are usually covered only by a thin shirt and no bra. What’s not to like about that?

The immediate area is frequented by ladyboy street walkers too. Some of them are surprisingly good looking. They tend to stand around the food stands or right on the side of the road. Even in all of the action going on it is tough to miss a tall sexy ladyboy with big boobs standing on the side of the road. These are some of the least aggressive of any of the ladyboy street walkers in Pattaya. They usually have modest demands too. Most will go with guys for 1000 Baht but I guess it all depends on the situation.

The most famous area of Pattaya is undoubtably Walking Street. Closed to vehicular traffic at night, the road is lined with go go bars from one end to the other. Now, with the rise of tourism in Pattaya, it is also home to a bunch of restaurants and stores selling tourist crap.

Walking Street does have some ladyboy action which I will write about soon. For the most part though it is limited to regular girl bars. That and the constant streams of gawking tourists keeps a lot of regulars away. It can get absolutely packed some nights. A lot of people in the know would rather be somewhere more lowkey doing packing of their own.

LK Metro is the second most popular go go bar area in Pattaya. It’s an L-shaped street not far from the beach. It connects Soi Bukhao and Pattaya Second Road Soi 13. LK Metro isn’t nearly as popular as Walking Street. A lot of tourists probably don’t even know about it. That means there are no gimmicks or people doing magic tricks or anything like that. It’s just bars.

While places like Titti Twisters and Baby Boom are very nearby there is only one ladyboy bar in LK Metro. That is Duangjai.

Duangjai is a small bar with a large staff. It’s near the Devils’ Den sex club. At night when all the bars and go gos have women in the street trying to lure customers inside it can even seem to disappear. There are always some ladyboys there in front trying to get guys inside but they can almost blend in with the other ladies, coyotes and touts out in the street.

The sign for the bar is posted up high above the actual entrance. It is only one of many illuminated signs on the strip. Still the sign can be easier to spot at times than the handful of ladyboys out front. It depends on the conditions.

There are usually somewhere between six and ten ladyboys working at Duangjai. A couple of them are very ladylike and one or two are even totally passable. There are also one or two more masculine ladyboys around too. Most of the others fall somewhere in between. They are all fit and relatively good looking with maybe one exception depending who is working.

The ladyboys at Duangjai usually wear sexy lounge dresses though at times they’ll put on more casual attire. It seems like they must coordinate clothes with each other because they are all on the same page. If one is wearing a dress they all are. If one is wearing jean shorts and a t-shirt they all are.

The bar is small as noted. That doesn’t mean it is too small to enjoy. Just that there isn’t a ton of room outside. It also has an open front which means it doesn’t allow for much privacy or naughty fun in the bar. On the otherhand, LK Metro buzzes so much that most people don’t notice anything that is going on beyond the end of their own nose. That’s why the bars can all sort of blend in with each other.

Prices for drinks and ladydrinks are all reasonable. There is also a lot of regular and street food nearby that can be enjoyed. It’s a laid back and fun place. The ladyboys aren’t aggresive at all. Even when they stand in the street. This is a refreshing change from some of the other ladyboy bars where they almost drag guys inside kicking and screaming. On the other hands bar fines are available at the usual prices and the ladyboys generally seem to be up for fun.

A lot of people like the place. That’s why it stays open and well staffed even though it never seems to get all too crowded.

So What is one of many bars that lines Beach Road Soi 6 in Pattaya. This alley is home to dozens of bars and has a reputation for being one of the wildest in the city. Most tourists end up wandering around on Walking Street to gawk at the go go bars there but regulars are more likely to head for Soi 6 when they want some action.

Soi 6 has a few restaurants and even a pharmacy but for the most part it is strictly a bar street where guys go. There aren’t many other people wandering through. Most of the bars are regular bars with regular women. A few focus on ladyboys. There don’t seem to be many bars that mix the staff up, maybe because they want to avoid any problems that could arise from that. There is at least one exception to that rule. I’ll write about it sometime soon.

Beach Road Soi 6/1 is right next to Soi 6. Some of the naughtiest bars have entrances out back that can be accessed from 6/1. This Soi is really quiet except for the ladyboys that hang out there trying to get guys into their bars. Occasionally a ladyboy not attached to a bar will stand around there too, sometimes in a state of nearly total undress. So What is one of the bars that has an entrance on 6/1. They also usually have a few ladyboys hanging out on plastic chairs there too. The other ladyboys hang out in front but some guys don’t feel comfortable entering ladyboy bars in front of the other guys and girls on the street. Apparently, some of the genetic girls don’t like to work with guys they have seen with ladyboys. To tell the truth I don’t think they are all that picky. After all 1000 Baht is 1000 Baht.

On any given night, So What has between six and twelve ladyboys working. Usually there are seven or eight around. They tend to be more passable or ladylike than the staff at some of the harder bars around. At least one of the ladyboys working at So What right now is absolutely gorgeous. She is 21 years old and has an amazing face and figure. Surprisingly, she is a bit shy but I imagine that will change as time goes on and she gets more comfortable in her career. All of the other ladyboys are easy going. While their hands do tend to roam, they aren’t aggressive at all.

The inside of So What looks like all the other bars on the Soi for the most part. There are some lounge style seats in the back where customers can hang out. There is also a dancing pole but it doesn’t seem to get much use. In the front there is a bar where the woman who manages the place can usually be found. Some customers hang around there from time to time but it’s more common to see them with one of the ladyboys.

The bars on Soi 6 are aimed at short time action and So What is no exception. Customers can pay 300 Baht to the bar to release a ladyboy of their choosing from work and rent one of the rooms upstairs. They are expected to give the ladyboys an additional 1000 Baht for their time and service. The rooms upstairs are nice enough with big beds and showers. I don’t think there are any real time limits. Guys can usually get as much time as they need in the rooms within reason. Surely there is some amount of time that would be considered “too long” but I don’t know what it is.

Customers can also take ladyboys out of the bar for extended periods of time including overnight stays but they are expected to pay more for that. Exact prices are set by negotiations between the customers and the ladyboys.

The ladyboys who work at So What aim to please. For the most part they all offer great service and aim to make their customers happy. Some of them get drained from working too much but there actually don’t seem to be many guys going in and out of the bar. Some of the ladyboys are passive and don’t get up for getting on top. Most of them are versatile though and try to meet the needs of the customers.

As previously mentioned there are a ton of ladyboy bars in Pattaya, Thailand. It would take ages to get through them all. I’m going to try anyway. What else do I have to do?

I recently reviewed Fantasy Bar on Soi Bukhao. As I mentioned at the time it is located right next to another ladyboy bar called Titti Twisters.

Titti Twisters is a small bar with a large staff of ladyboys. The ladyboys on staff spend most of each evening standing in front of the bar trying to attract passing guys into the place. The ladies standing in front of the bar right next to the ladies standing in front of Fantasy create a kind of ladyboy wall that can either be intimidating or alluring depending on your outlook. In reality the ladyboys at both bars are pretty laid back and easy going even if they do have to hustle to make a living.

Unlike Fantasy which has a sort of subdued low red lighting, Titti Twister relies on a more natural illumination that gives a better idea of what the ladyboys working there actually look like. This only makes sense since they are for the most part good looking ladyboys in their early twenties with fit bodies and fake round tits. While there may be one or two who tend toward the boyish around at any given time for the most part these are more ladylike and passable gals. High heels, make up and sexy tight dresses are the norm.

They usually have one or two super hot ladyboys working at Titti Twisters. The last time I was there they had one incredibly specimen on staff who wore skin tight dresses every night to show off what her assets. I saw her go out of the bar with customers every night of the week which proves that the eye of the beholder is sometimes the same as the eye of everyone else.

Titty Twisters is owned by a guy named James who does his best to make everyone feel comfortable and at home when he is around. The place is pretty low pressure and there are things like a pool table and seats that give a clear view of the passersby on the road that can make it a relaxing place to hang out for those looking for that.

The more natural lighting and open front at Titty Twister make the place slightly less private than Fantasy next door. It’s not like anyone is really straining to look inside either place from the street but if they were it would be easier for them to see what is going on in Titty Twister than it’s neighbor. In any event everyone who really wants to can see who goes in and out of the bars since they are both located on a well lit major road. Luckily for guys who are shy or private no one really cares about who spends time with who in Pattaya as long as it all consensual and above board. The plethora of ladyboy bars mixed in with the regular genetic girl bars all along Soi Bukhao proves that.

Everything is normally priced at Titti Twisters. Drinks for customers, lady drinks and barfines cost the same as they do next door and at most other similar places around town. For all the rumors and stories of guys getting ripped off at bars in Thailand I find that most of the places are straightforward and honest. That doesn’t mean that people should let their guard down but I don’t view the place as a kind of warzone where foreigners are a moving target as some commentators appear to do. In actual fact I have never been as much as shorted change in Pattaya in countless visits though the taxi and motorbike taxi guys do love to try it on with farang.

Despite having a good location and some really hot ladyboys on staff, Titti Twisters is quiet most of the time. You can tell since the ladyboys stand out front when there are no customers inside. That seems to happen more often than not. I think one of the reasons is that some guys are shy or embarrassed about being seen inside. You can see some of these guys show up to pound a quick drink and speed out with a ladyboy to pound soon after. Another reason may be all of the competition in the area but I think there are enough guys to go around. If there weren’t some of the bars would eventually have to go out of business. On the contrary there seem to be more ladyboy bars opening all the time!
